  • My motto when getting through our roughest patch during the divorce was “Just do the next right thing.”

  • You’re rockin it Kinnear! (Aerosmith)

  • what?!?! how did I miss this – gah!

  • I appreciate you so much!

  • love it- positive change is hard- but it is ALWAYS worth it!!

  • I once heard someone tell a story about making a change they had put off….their doc leaned forward and said “aren’t you tired of thinking about it?” I realized that we spend soooo much time thinking about the change we want…but we don’t JUMP IN… that story and your snack have been a great reminder for me- thank you!

    • WOW. So true, Lauren. Thanks for sharing that. We can wrestle all day with ourselves in our minds and not realize that thinking about the pros and cons, wrestling with decision making and fighting with ourselves is costing us. Not moving forward seems like we’re in neutral, but it’s actually putting us in reverse and costing us mentally.

  • Holy smokes I needed to hear this tonight!!! Thank you!

  • I made this for you!! I loved these points!

  • isn’t it funny that we consider them “self protecting” negative thoughts….they aren’t actually protecting us…but holding us BACK!!

    • It’s so true. They are protecting a part of our psyche that is designed to always stay “safe” but if you let them run your life, it can actually do more harm than good.

  • I NEED TO WRITE MORE!!!! I guess that is what my Blog can help with lol…..but really I should do the journal thing!! Then I don’t have to worry about censoring!
